Success Stories

In 2012 the organization secured funding from Kibuku District Local Government and built the capacity of farmers in institutional development. 65group farmer promoters in kibuku district were train in Participatory planning, Good governance, Participatory monitoring and evaluation.

In 2011 we received financial support from the ministry of health to implement Global Fund For Malaria Round 7 and Distributed of long lasting insecticide treated nets in Pallisa and kibuku districts eastern Uganda. A total of —– LLINs were distributed to pregnant women and children less than 5 years

2010-2011; we designed and successfully implemented a project entitled community empowerment on rights based approach to sustainable development management in Pallisa and Budaka Districts as a project coordinator with financial support from Independent Development Fund (IDF).

2010; we designed and successfully managed a project entitled scaling HIV/IADS prevention and management at community level in Kibuku District with financial support from Civil Society Fund (CSF) as the Executive Director/Accounting Officer of the project.

2010; we designed and successfully managed a project entitled HIV/AIDS prevention and management among primary school girl children in Kibuku district in eastern Uganda with financial support from King Baudouin Foundation (Nike Red Programme). The project created HIV/AIDS awareness among 7456 primary girl children, 56 spots and games masters in 18 primary schools

2009; we designed and successfully managed a project entitled HIV/AIDS prevention and management among most vulnerable members and local leaders in Pallisa District with financial support from Civil Society Fund (CSF) as the Executive Director/Accounting Officer of the project

1999- 2000; we designed and managed to develop Kagumu Development Organization as a community based organization to a non government organization operating in a Pallisa district.

In 2008, the organization successfully managed a project entitled multiplication and commercialization of cassava production. The project was implemented in Pallisa district in the sub counties of Kagumu and Bulangira with financial support from 9th EDF Civil Society Capacity Building Programme. In this project implementation, the organization achieved the second best grant award in recognition for it exemplary work and dedication in improving lives and improving communities. Civil society capacity building programme was a new programe in the world that was piloted in Uganda. This project was successfully implemented under my good managerial practices and currently it is implemented in 77 countries of the world. The project was implemented in partnership with Kagumu women association and Bageya women association

In 2008, the organization successfully managed a project entitled community HIV/AIDS Prevention Project in Pallisa district with financial support from Research Triangle Institute International (RTI), USaid Funded Project. Project results were realized and the organization was awarded a certificate of recognitions for the performance.

In 2008, the organization successfully managed a project entitled community HIV/AIDS awareness and management among the youth out of school with financial support from population services international (PSI). This project facilited the dissemination of abstinence, condom use and being faithful.
